We will then take a deep dive into the synergy of our senses, the basics of sensory science, and how taste and flavor differ. This course will wrap up with a lesson on building an effective sensory program. Although various instrumental methods can provide information about food and beverage properties, it is only through the human senses that we can grasp the total beverage experience, thus highlighting the importance of this system.
